Sunday, October 4, 2015 9:00am-4:00pm Join us for our annual fall festival!  Experience the beauty of fall as we use our entire 155 acre property for family-friendly fun.  October is one of the best times to witness trees with their rich autumn colors.  Build a scarecrow, enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, make a fall craft to take home, and enjoy entertainment and activities for kids of all ages.  There are also Girl Scout activities planned for the day, as well.  More info here. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 9:00am – 11:00am University of Illinois Extension and Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden invite kids ages 6 to 12 to be Young Explorers this summer at Klehm Arboretum, 2715 S. Main St., Rockford. Young Explorers is a new summer program co-sponsored by Klehm Arboretum and U of I Extension. Sessions will be led by U of I Extension staff with help from a Master Gardener, Master Naturalist and Klehm Arboretum volunteers, and will feature fun, interactive and educational activities designed to celebrate nature while exploring the beautiful grounds at Klehm Arboretum.
