Klehm Receives Challenge Grant

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden has been awarded a matching grant of $10,000 by the Carroll H. Starr Endowment Challenge Grant of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. According to Klehm Executive Director Daniel Riggs, the grant will be used to build the Bur Oak Endowment Fund dedicated to the operating support for the Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden. “Our agency strives to maintain a living museum for the enjoyment, education and inspiration of all people.  Klehm Arboretum hosts a large collection of labeled tree and shrub varieties as well as seasonal garden displays.
