Klehm Arboretum Seeks Interns

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden’s Horticulture, Special Events, and Youth Education Departments are seeking energetic, dedicated, and hard-working interns. Positions are available for spring, summer, and fall semesters on site at the Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden. Interns must be in their junior year of college or higher.

The Arboretum, organized to provide botanical education for people of all ages, is supported by memberships, gifts, grants, and fundraising events. Internships in any of Arboretum’s departments will provide exciting, valuable, hands-on experience—experience employers search for.

The Horticultural Internship contains a fair amount of physical labor, but will be well-rewarded with gorgeous gardens and an increased working knowledge.

The Special Events Internship provides event hands-on experience and education in areas of marketing, sponsorship sales, volunteers, and logistics necessary to put the future planner on the industry’s cutting edge. Days and hours are flexible. Access to an automobile required with mileage reimbursed.
