Art Exhibit in July: Rockford Photo Club

The Rockford Photo Club will display a diverse selection of photographic prints that capture the natural beauty that surround us. These photos, taken by local amateur photographers, will include a wide range of subject matter from around the Rockford region, foreign travels, National Parks and other scenes.

“The BEST way to spend a summer evening!”

A gentle breeze, flowers in bloom, surrounded by family and friends what more could you ask for as you enjoy live musical entertainment surrounded by the beauty of Klehm’s incredible Fountain Garden. Just bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax and enjoy one or more Sunday evening concerts. Come early and enjoy a delicious picnic supper from the exclusive gourmet Wood Song menu. It offers a wide variety of taste tempting selections from Boxed Suppers, Picnic Baskets to Gourmet Dining, just make your selection in advance and your meal will be ready and waiting when you arrive. Great food, great company, great music, “a perfect Sunday summer evening awaits” at Wood Song – Music in the Garden. Gates open at 4pm and concerts begin at 6pm. A limited number of picnic tables may be reserved in advance as available. (Tickets available at the gate).

Women in Nature

This National Wild Turkey Federation program is dedicated to providing interactive educational outdoor opportunities for women ages 14 and older. Outdoor learning events featuring hands-on activities are conducted by local chapters throughout the nation.

The National Wild Turkey Federation’s goal is to teach the importance of responsible wildlife management, increase participation in outdoor-related activities and to preserve the hunting tradition.
