Sunday, August 11, 2013 Gates open 4pm, Concert starts at 6pm Sit back and relax with a glass of wine as you enjoy an open-air concert in Klehm’s magnificent Fountain Garden. Bring a chair, pillow or blanket and a picnic dinner. Free guest shuttle service to and from the parking lot is provided at no charge. Doors open at 4:00pm so you have plenty of time to explore the gardens and grounds before the concert starts. There will be food and drinks available for purchase by Calvanese Deli Italia and Javamania. All concerts are held outdoors so don’t forget the bug spray! Concerts are held rain or shine. Saturday, August 10, 2013 Exhibit 10am-3pm | Class 1pm Learn the history and philosophy of this elegant horticultural technique. Bill Horschke, president of the Rock River Bonsai Society will discuss the science of bonsai and explain how it includes more than just the small trees usually associated with this technique.  In addition to the class, the Bonsai Society will have an exhibit of Bonsai trees displayed in the Visitors Center along with information about the art of Bonsai and their club.
