We were delighted with the great turnout for the 2013 Winter Photo Contest. Despite weather that belied a typical deep, snowy winter, the photos that we did receive were amongst the best we’ve seen, and so many of them were wonderful depictions of Klehm in winter. Saturday, March 9, 2013 10am – 3pm This spring, families are invited to engage with nature at Klehm. On the second Saturday of each month, Klehm will offer themed activities for kids of all ages. Your family will find fun ways to learn about nature outdoors through hikes, scavenger hunts and guided tours. Our March Family Day theme is “The Early Signs of Spring.”  Before the first trees blossom you can find signs of spring: in patches of color, the first flowers of the year, sprouting plants and interesting tree buds.   Program Changes After the weather Rockford the Stateline Area has experienced this past month… Klehm wants to remind everyone that spring is almost here. What an exciting time of year as we wait to trade the drab color palette of late winter and witness the transformation into full spring bloom, so pleasing to the senses. This position will be responsible for Klehm’s social media and website content and delivery in the Marketing Director’s absence. The position will also handle the maintenance of several databases, as well as general administrative assistant duties and staff support. Position is Full-time, Seasonal.
