Seeing Nature in a Different Light
Thursday, September 19, 2013
5:30pm – 7:30pm
Join professional photographer, Hans Rupert, for a program covering the key role that light plays in photography. He will teach you how choosing where and when we shoot can greatly alter the look, feel and impact of our photos. Years before Photoshop and easy photo manipulation, Hans learned to scout locations based on their light for his film photography, which could not be altered later, and he’ll teach you to do the same.
The presentation will include examples of photos taken at Klehm with wildly different moods created by the light alone. After the short presentation, take a walk with Hans and apply the lessons learned. He will be on hand to assist in your efforts and answer any creative or technical questions.
Cost: $5 members/$10 non-members
