An Evening Hike for the Family

Begins at 7:30pm

Question: Why do bats hang upside-down?

Answer: Bats hang by their feet with their head down because it is energy efficient. One quarter of all mammal species in the world are bats and Kathy Martinez, Severson Dells Educator will lead us through the wonderful world of bats. We’ll head outside at just the right time to look for some of the bats that call Klehm Arboretum their home.
