The most mature and magnificent trees in the landscape demand special care.  Like us, older trees go through changes and become frail.  More than just tree health, the owner of a mature tree needs to monitor and manage structural stability.  This class will use indoor presentation and outdoor study to help you understand tree architecture, decay and the arboricultural aging process. You will learn when it is time to say ‘good bye’ to old friends and ways to salvage lumber for legacy.
