Members Only – Winter Bird Walk

Time: 8:30am – 10:30am

Maximum: 16 participants, no walk-ins

Join local bird expert, Dan Williams, as he leads a walk to identify the many birds that visit the arboretum each winter. Dan has been an active birder for over 30 years and travels internationally to enjoy birds and wildlife. He is past president of the American Birding Association and a member of the North Central Illinois Ornithological Society.

The walk is free and exclusively for Klehm members. A suggested donation of $10 is encouraged and will be used to purchase food for Klehm’s bird feeders. Be sure to dress for outdoor activities and bring your binoculars.

Pre-registration is required. Call Klehm’s office to register at (815) 965-8146. Office hours are 9am – 4pm Tuesday through Saturday.
