5pm-8pm For over 20 years Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden has hosted the most diverse plant sale in the region. At our inside location choose from hundreds of plants, many from members’ gardens, all suitable for our region. Master Gardeners will be on hand to assist you with your purchases. Too many plants in your garden?  We also welcome donations of plants from the community and from Klehm members’ gardens. Donated plant material should be bagged and labeled with variety and color. Garlic Mustard Pull at Klehm

Klehm Arboretum 2nd Annual Garlic Mustard Pull May 14, 2011 9am-12pm To register call (815) 965-8146 Released – May 5, 2011   On Saturday, May 14 from 9am-noon the community is invited to Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden to be a part of a fun service project to help control the spread of garlic mustard at Klehm. A brief training will begin at 9am and then groups will spread out throughout specifically designated areas of the Arboretum. Watch the challenge between The Winnebago County Forest Preserve Commissioners and the Klehm Board of Directors team to see which team can “pull” more garlic mustard. This is a rain or shine event so please dress for the weather and bring a pair of cloves. This activity is not appropriate for very young children. No experience required....
